Peter Blackmore is the sole proprietor of Piko Renovations. I have been in construction related work most of my life - and I swear I cut my first tooth on a paintbrush!
As a second-generation builder I trained first in drafting, house design and construction, learning from the ground up. Working for builders, architects and in civil engineering gave me a solid background primarily in residential construction and design. Branching into the world of renovations, I honed practical skills and hands on experience, with adaptability required to work within this existing framework.

- 18+ in the trades, primarily in renovations
- Certificates in drafting
- Certificates in Building Technology and Science
- Pre-diploma in Art and Design
- Several building- related courses - to the BC Building Code
- Former BC registered and HPO-recognised builder
- Local Business license
There are many residential buildings - not just
single family homes, but multi-family housing and developments - but also several commercial buildings
such as offices, hotel, etc., that came from his drawing
board. And, more recently, there are many houses
that have been remodeled, renovated, and had additions
in his career as a renovator.
